EZA Declaration of Conformity

The multi-stage verification process for system certification ends with the issue of the EZA declaration of conformity. Together with the system certificate, the declaration of commissioning forms the basis for this. This proves that the generation system fulfills the requirements of the respective application rule and the respective TAB of the grid operator. In simple terms, the declaration of conformity is a confirmation of the correct implementation of the information from the system certificate in practice. When the declaration of conformity is issued, the final operating permit for the generation system is granted. Declarations of conformity must be issued by an accredited certification body in accordance with the VDE application rule.

Which documents are required to draw up the EZA declaration of conformity?

  • System certificate and evaluation report

  • Unit certificate

  • Complete declaration of commissioning (see form E.11)

  • Measurement reports (if necessary)
