Noise immission protection for noise pollution through noise measurement and noise protection reports
Noise caused by technical systems, commercial and industrial units or construction sites can sometimes be unpleasant for people. If they exceed certain limit values, this noise immission can even make people ill. As an officially recognized and DAkkS-accredited testing laboratory, we carry out noise measurements and noise immission forecasts to prevent this from happening in the first place. By making concrete proposals for noise protection measures, we help you as an operator, building owner or planning authority to comply with the guideline values regulated by the Federal Immission Control Act in the event of exceedances or to provide evidence for officially ordered noise measurements (§ 26 BImSchG and § 28 BImSchG). In this way, for example, you can ensure that your systems and facilities are eligible for approval in accordance with TA Lärm. Of course, we can also contribute to acoustic urban design with our sound propagation calculations and thus significantly promote municipal noise protection. We at M.O.E. already have a great deal of experience in the fields of technical and municipal acoustics.
M.O.E. is a measuring body notified by the LfU (Schleswig-Holstein State Office for the Environment) in accordance with §29b BImSchG in conjunction with the Notification Ordinance (41st BImSchV) and accredited in accordance with DIN EN ISO 17025 by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS).

What customers say about us:
“Dedication and support beyond the call of duty. During the course of our project we received excellent counseling and service far beyond the ordinary. Vital parts of our success were based on MOE’s performance.”
“I would like to thank you once again for the pleasant and competent handling of the noise report. Despite many factors (highway, industry, etc.), the result was very positive without any problems. Competence always pays off for the client. I have immediately recommended you to others.”
“The cooperation with Ms. Henze, M.O.E., for a sound analysis was very professional and pleasant throughout. From the quotation to the invoice, there were no complaints, deadlines and budgets were met and Ms. Henze’s professional and personal commitment far exceeded today’s service standards. Many thanks for that and – anytime again!”
Noise reports for your business
When constructing new technical facilities or modifying existing facilities, tradespeople often have to provide noise protection certificates to the relevant immission control authority in order to fulfill the approval requirements and ensure appropriate noise protection. In addition, sound immission forecasts can reveal potential problems with noise-related sound emissions and immissions in the early phase of your project. This allows you to influence the planning phase in order to avoid expensive structural improvements. If you need a noise report for your business, whether it is new or undergoing a modification process, we are the right noise protection experts for you. We create a digital model of sound propagation with a detailed representation of all emissions to be taken into account and prepare a detailed and meaningful noise protection report for you. If noise protection measures are required to comply with the immission guide values, you will of course also receive solutions from us. Our work is based on modern software (CadnaA) and numerous studies as a basis for the calculation. If necessary, we can also measure the sound emissions of individual machines and units to determine the sound power level if no study results are available. All our sound level meters comply with accuracy class 1 in accordance with IEC 61672:2002 and the calculation model is prepared in accordance with DIN ISO 9613-2. Of course, we also take care of a large part of the communication in coordination with architects, planners and authorities.
We offer expert opinions for the following construction projects:
Construction site noise
As a building owner, you may have to prove that the noise from your construction site does not exceed the applicable guide values in order to protect the neighborhood. This can be done as part of a noise forecast or through monitoring measurements. We can help you to obtain an immission control permit.
So how can we support you?
Urban land-use planning
As part of the approval process for amending land use plans (preparatory urban land-use planning) and when amending development plans, it is mandatory to consider the planning area from an emissions perspective. This must be done before the planned projects are implemented.
What services do we provide in the planning process?
