Inspection during the operating phase (SDL inspection)

As an operator of wind turbines, you are obliged to comply with the requirements of the SDLWindV throughout the entire operating period. For commissioning, these requirements are checked in the system certificate and the correct setting of the systems is confirmed as part of the EZA declaration of conformity. The aim of the recurring SDL inspection is to regularly identify possible deviations of the generation system from the requirements of the SDLWindV in order to minimize the risks of malfunction and liability for the operator. This protects your investment against reclaiming remuneration from the grid operator.

Scope of the recurring SDL inspection

  • Verification of the essential parameters and the modified or replaced components in the generating units in relation to the unit and system certificate, as well as the EZA declaration of conformity

  • Checking the available protection test protocols (generating units/grid connection point)

  • Checking the control equipment

  • Inspection of the DGUV Regulation 3 certificates submitted

  • Preparation of a report on the recurring SDL audit

To minimize downtimes of your system, you can combine the SDL inspection with the regular protection tests, the DGUV V3 inspections and the periodic mechanical inspections (WKP) carried out by us. We would be happy to provide you with a quote. Please contact us if you have any questions.
