Company history

Previous successes

M.O.E. was founded in 2009 by Jochen Möller. In 2010, M.O.E. was the first company to be appointed as an accredited certification body for grid integration in accordance with EN 45011, now DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065, and received the final recommendation from BDEW, FGW e. V. and IEC RE. Every year, M.O.E. provides the necessary evidence for several GW of installed generation capacity. In this way, M.O.E. makes a significant contribution to a stable electricity supply. M.O.E. is actively involved in the most important committees and works closely with the leading manufacturers of wind turbines, PV inverters, combustion engines, storage systems and grid operators. In 2016, we were appointed as an accredited inspection body in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020 and as an accredited testing laboratory in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. Since 2017, our accredited inspection body has been offering grid operator services with the aim of sustainable grid integration of generation systems. Since 2018, the accredited testing laboratory has also been providing expert opinions in the field of industrial noise. In 2020, the accreditation of the inspection body for type A (clearly independent (third party)) was achieved. The first complete individual verification procedure was completed in 2021. M.O.E. can offer everything from a single source and thus significantly reduce interface problems and times. In 2023, the rope robot developed in-house was released for commercial use. This means that rotor blades that are difficult to climb using rope access technology can also be inspected. Downtimes can also be reduced here.
